The final game of the weekend featured the Alliance Juniors taking on the Prep squad. Using a 12 run first inning, it was the Peltz Co Juniors taking the win 13 to 1. Jackson Devlin hurled all three frames for the Juniors while pitching for the Preps were Esai Trejo and AJ Garcia. At the dish, the Jrs. ended with 11 hits. Having 2 knocks each were: Israel Garcia, Miguel Galvan, and Jace Jensen.
All Juniors from the start. Hits by Israel Garcia and Galvan plus a couple of errors by the Preps set the table for Jensen whose single made it 2 to 0. Jayden Garcia was next and his hit put the score at 3 to 0. A fielder’s choice and another miscue by the Preps followed, making the board read 5 to 0. The Juniors then got more hits by Israel Garcia, Teagen O’Gorman, Galvan, Jensen, and Creighton Fritzler that increased their advantage to 11. The scoring came to a close with a passed ball and the Preps staring at a 12 to 0 deficit. Devlin had a clean inning in the bottom of the first.
In the second, the Peltz Co Juniors got a score after a Casyn Rodriguez hit, an error, and a balk to go up 13 to 0. The Prep’s bats were again silenced by Devlin in the bottom of the inning. Fletcher Moseman singled in the top of frame #3 but failed to score. An error by the Juniors and a couple of groundouts helped the Preps get a run in their last at bat. Final Juniors 13 Preps 1
