Bearcat Stadium in Scottsbluff host their annual Junior High track meet on Saturday with seven teams taking to the track. For the Alliance boy’s squad, it was Grant Bloyd leading the way. The 8th grader placed third in the 100, second in the long jump, and was a member of the second place 400 relay. Bloyd also ran the mile relay where the Dogs were third. Top scorer for Alliance’s 7th grade club was Kendrick Quick who was second in the shot and fifth in the discus. Scottsbluff won both boy’s division. The Bluffs score 200.5 points in winning the 8th grade team race with Gering second with 98. AMS tallied 38 points which was good for fifth. With 164 points, the Bearcats won the seventh grade level with Mitchell taking second with 118. AMS netted 11 points.
