On Friday, the Alliance track squads ventured to Pine Bluffs, Wyoming and took part in the Early Hornet invite. Fourteen schools participated in the event. With 110.33, the Bulldog boy’s team ended as the runner up. Burns was first with 140.5 while placing third was Chadron with 90 points. Chadron the girl’s division with 114 points. Finishing second was Wright who tallied 89. Third place went to Southwest with 86 points. The Alliance girl’s group was 8th with 41 tallies. Alliance had three first place finishers for the boys. Tanner Salcido won the triple jump. AHS was first in both the mile and two mile relay events. Junior Brooke Bailey was the top finisher for the girls with a silver medal in the 400.
