On Monday, the Alliance St. Agnes track teams traveled to Scottsbluff to compete in the BMS Invite. Six teams took part. Top team finishers were the Lady Crusaders in the seventh grade division who ended with 69 points which was good for fourth overall.
Gering won the 7th grade team title with 124 points. SA was sixth in the 8th grade team race with 25 points. Scottsbluff won the event with 162 points. The St. Agnes boy’s 8th grade squad was fifth with 54 points with Scottsbluff the champ with 143 points. In the 7th grade boy’s team race it was AMS first with 160 points with St. Agnes 6th with 38 points. St. Agnes had 2 first place finishers in the boy’s seventh grade level. Paxton Richey won the pole vault and Tripp Johnson was first in the mile. Jay Shelmadine won the 8th grade pole vault.
In the girl’s 7th grade division Lady Crusaders Reese Armstrong and Alexis Shelmadine tied for first in the pole vault with a 7’0 effort.
